Seven articles that every delegate, advisor, staff member and guest agrees to on registering.

Code of Conduct

These articles bind every participant of PTMUN VII from arrival to departure, at every venue and every PTMUN activity, inside committee and out.

    1. I.1

      Every delegate, faculty advisor, staff member and guest must follow this Code at all PTMUN activities.

    2. I.2

      Each participant is responsible for their own behaviour and must respect the rights of others.

    3. I.3

      Rude, cruel or otherwise offensive behaviour towards any delegate, staff member or guest will not be tolerated, inside committee or outside it.

    4. I.4

      Harassment of any person on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability, national origin, appearance or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited.

    5. I.5

      Bullying, name-calling and hazing of any kind are prohibited.

    6. I.6

      Inappropriate or unwelcome physical contact with any delegate, staff member or guest is not permitted.

    7. I.7

      Participants are expected to conduct themselves formally throughout, with good posture and personal hygiene.

    1. II.1

      Treat every PTMUN venue with care. Access to these spaces is a privilege, and your conduct decides whether we are welcomed back.

    2. II.2

      Vandalism, damage to property or misuse of a facility may be treated as a criminal offence.

    1. III.1

      Alcohol, cigarettes, vapes, pods and intoxicants of any kind may not be possessed or consumed. Confiscated items will not be returned.

    2. III.2

      Illegal drugs are forbidden in all circumstances.

    3. III.3

      Weapons, and any item that could injure people or damage property, are forbidden. Discovery of a prohibited item may lead to immediate cancellation of registration.

    1. IV.1

      Any activity that endangers your own health or safety, or that of others, is prohibited.

    2. IV.2

      Conference passes must be worn and visible at all times.

    1. V.1

      Business attire, Western or Eastern, is required in every committee session and at the opening and closing ceremonies. Business casual is the minimum standard.

    2. V.2

      Clothing should be dignified and suited to a formal, professional setting.

    1. VI.1

      Delegates must attend every committee session and arrive on time.

    1. VII.1

      A breach of any article may result in disciplinary action at the discretion of PTMUN staff.

    2. VII.2

      Depending on its severity, a breach may lead to immediate removal from PTMUN activities, liability for damages, notification of parents, guardians or institutions, and, where necessary, referral to law enforcement.
